The first time I tried to put together a group costume, I did what everyone does: I drove to the seasonal store, found nothing in the right sizes, and paid more than I planned for less than I wanted. On the way home I started wondering whether there was a smarter way.
There is. It is just buried under a pile of jargon.
Most "cheap costume" advice online tells you to DIY, which is fine until you are dressing four people in a week. What almost nobody explains is that the same look is often listed on Chinese marketplaces for a fraction of the shelf price โ and that a shopping agent can buy it, check it, and ship it, all in English.
That is the gap this site fills. Not another list of ideas, but ideas with a cheaper route attached.
How we keep it honest
We do not call anything "authentic". We do not pretend a listing is a guarantee. What we do is tell you where a number came from, when we checked it, and what to watch out for โ sizing, timing, customs. If something is genuinely risky, we say so.
And yes, we earn a commission when you buy through our links. That is how a free site survives. It never changes what we recommend, and we explain it plainly on our disclosure page.
What is next
This season we are focused on three things: costumes you can actually pull off, decorations that read well from the sidewalk, and a party that runs without you. If that sounds useful, start with the trend report.
